Witness the meticulous artistry of glassblowing in their onsite studio, adding a touch of wonder to this unique experience. Continuing our journey towards Napier, we pause for a photo opportunity at the breathtaking Waipunga Falls, one of New Zealand’s stunning natural wonders, dropping 40-metres and tumbling into multiple tiers, offering a mesmerizing spectacle easily accessible from the viewing platform, just steps from the road. Our next destination is Trelinnoe Park, a botanical haven boasting an impressive array of uncommon and precious trees and shrubs, including the majestic Mexican hand flower trees and a tree-sized hydrangea. Take your time meandering through the captivating landscape, soaking in the tranquillity and beauty of this woodland garden. As our day comes to an end, we traverse the sprawling Hawke’s Bay plains to reach the charming city of Napier, celebrated for its Art Deco architecture – a remarkable revival after the devastating earthquake of 1931. Upon arrival, we make our way to our hotel, where a welcome dinner awaits.
