Tears to Tiara (ティアーズ・トゥ・ティアラ, Tiāzu tu Tiara) is a Japanese visual novel series developed by Leaf/AQUAPLUS. The franchise started with its first tactical RPG released for Windows on April 28, 2005 in Japan. The game draws heavily from Welsh, Celt, Christian and Roman mythology, with characters named after from Arthurian Legend. This is a guide for the PS3 game Tears to Tiara Anecdotes: The Secret of Avalon. This game is a primarily a visual novel with SRPG elements. As a result this game is very text heavy with gameplay done through menus so having basic Japanese knowledge or at least an idea of how to navigate them is required. If you don't however, do no worry. The purpose of this guide is to provide a resource for those with no knowledge of Japanese. If you have played the previous game, Tears to Tiara: Garland of the Earth (sometimes called Earth's Wreath), the game's menus and many of the skills and spells will be familiar to you. The UI and battle system is almost exactly the same as well. Below are pictures and explanations of the game's menus followed by explanations of the game's various gameplay mechanics and systems.
