Dillon Danis was all misfit and no boxing on Saturday. Logan Paul dominated Danis in a fight where Danis refused to strike and instead hunted takedowns and chokes in their Misfits Boxing co-main event. Paul was moments away from a unanimous decision win before Danis' shenanigans forced a disqualification.

"He's supposed to be good at jiu-jitsu. What happened? I stuffed his takedown. He tried to do a guillotine. I'm sorry I missed the hammer fists. That would have been good. I'm sorry it ended that way." Paul said during his post-fight interview in Manchester Arena. "Dillon Danis is truly a coward and a dirty, dirty human being."

Paul vs. Danis was a smidge more competitive than Paul vs. a punching bag. Danis, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete, landed approximately two punches each round with Paul outlanding him at a nearly 20-to-1 rate. Danis' most interesting moments were attempting a body lock takedown and guillotine choke, both of which failed.

The final seconds of their fight resulted in the referee calling a disqualification. Danis jumped for a guillotine and fell to the mat. Paul retaliated with a hammer fist that missed. Danis lunged at Paul after the bell and swung at a security guard before countless bodies filled the ring to separate the athletes. Ring announcer Michael Buffer did state that Paul swept Danis on the scorecards.

Paul expressed his desire to return to WWE afterwards to challenge United States champion Rey Mysterio. Paul said he'd return to boxing for a match against Conor McGregor and would be willing to meet Danis in MMA should Danis relinquish his entire purse.

"Hey, Conor McGregor! I took your bitch, put him on a leash and took him for a walk..." Paul said. "Is that little leprechaun here? Where are you at, Conor? He abandoned Dillon."

Danis came to prominence in combat sports as McGregor's jiu-jitsu coach. McGregor applauded Danis' boxing efforts in an audio clip on Twitter and mocked Paul for failing to meaningfully hurt Danis.

"Some of the ones [Danis] was throwing were alright. He just needed to throw them a little bit more," McGregor said. "What did your man [Paul] do anyway? He didn't even wobble him. He didn't even hurt him. You little fool. Were you in a dark spot? Guess what, mate. You're back in the dark spot now."

In the final fight of the night, Tommy Fury picked up a somewhat controversial win over KSI by majority decision. Fury, who beat Jake Paul by split decision in February, did slightly better work than KSI over the course of six rounds, but neither fighter did much to sway the judges as the fight was bogged down by tons of clinching and holding on the inside. It's unclear what could be next for either fighter, but a logical next step could be for Fury to take on Logan Paul and complete the rivalry.

CBS Sports was with you throughout the entire way on Saturday with the live results and highlights below.

  • Tommy Fury def. KSI via majority decision (57-57, 57-56, 57-56)

  • Deen the Great def. Walid Sharks via unanimous decision (49-44, 48-45, 49-44)

Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis is fight built on bitterness and morbid curiosity. Neither athlete is known for their striking skills. Paul is winless in three separate boxing events: a professional loss to KSI, an amateur draw against KSI and an exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Danis is a talented grappler who only briefly dabbled in mixed martial arts with a 2-0 record.

Paul came to prominence on video platforms like YouTube and Vine. He's had the occasional foray into boxing; however, his biggest crossover success is as a WWE superstar. Paul has dazzled in multiple pay-per-view appearances, including two WrestleMania matches and an undisputed WWE universal championship match against Roman Reigns.

Danis gained notoriety in MMA thanks to his affiliation with Conor McGregor and altercations with Khabib Nurmagomedov, Nate Diaz and Jake Paul. Danis has not competed in MMA since 2019.

Their feud has primarily consisted of Danis sharing images of Paul's fiancee, Nina Agdal, online.
